You've seen my pumpkins - now show me yours!
Below are my first pumpkins of the season, and if you go to my Facebook, you can see my pumpkins from the last two years. Now, I want to see YOURS! Enter the Doctober Pumpkin Carving Contest:
- RULES: Take a scene, concept or character from any of my published works and carve it into a pumpkin! Or, take your interpretation of a scene or story and carve that. I want to see what you see when you read my stories! Make 'em scary, make 'em sad, make 'em weird, just make 'em! The one stipulation is that you must carve the pumpkin; no coloring, no doodling, no sticking plastic in it.
- DEADLINE: The contest will run from October 6th, all the way through Halloween, October 31st. A winner will be selected and announced RIGHT HERE on November 2nd.
- PRIZES: The winner will receive a FREE copy of my upcoming collection, Bloody Apparitions,
- HOW TO ENTER: Simply carve your pumpkin, take a pic or video of you with it (or include your Twitter username on a piece of paper, if you'd rather not show yourself), go to the Contact page here and send me a link to the photo/video. You can also contact me on Facebook or Twitter. If you choose to Twitpic your photo/video, be sure to tag it with #doctobercarving. Submissions will be featured on the "Doctober Carving" tab, and the winner will be featured at the top of the page. Happy carving!
