It's March 24th! Jeez, that happened fast. BUT NOW, IT'S TIME TO ANNOUNCE A WINNER OF THE LOGO CONTEST!
There were some really great entries, but the winner is: Erin Bates, for her incredibly unique and clever logo!
Thank you to all the participants, and keep an eye out for future contests!

I need a logo. So, contest!
Required elements: the letters M and D.
Optional elements: blood, ink, a calligraphy pen, a dagger, a skull, a gentleman skull (with a top hat and monocle), crows, a wrought-iron gate, something in reference to my email, "mighty pen wielder"...
Basically, I want a horror writer's logo. Horror elements, writing elements, something cool and bold and unique.
Submissions: Can be left in the comments below.
Deadline: Let's say a little over two weeks, March 24th.
Prizes: Copies of ALL of my ebooks, including The Saico Chronicles, Bloody Apparitions, Shadows at Dusk, as well as the collection I have coming out in April, The Devil's Temptation. I'll also include The Saico Chronicles: Author's Picks, a special release coming out on April 13th.

In January, 2012, I will be releasing a new collection: Shadows at Dusk. It will contain the stories, "Smoke: Gas Man," "Underground," and "Stuck." For this collection, I will, of course, need cover art. The only problem is: I am not an artist! So I need your help!
CONTEST: Design cover art for Shadows at Dusk!
RULES: The art you submit must be your own, preferably done on the computer, but all artwork will be accepted. It must have something to do with the encompassing title of the collection.
DEADLINE: Submissions will be accepted up to December 31st. A winner will be announced January 1st.
PRIZES: The winner will receive credit for the cover art on the official Amazon page for the publication, a FREE copy of Shadows at Dusk and a FREE copy of Bloody Apparitions!
HOW TO SUBMIT: Through Facebook, Twitter, LiveJournal etc. Upload your picture somewhere online - Twitpic, FB, Photobucket - and link me to it. OR, email me with the subject "Cover Art Contest" saying your name, Twitter username (if you have one) and your artwork attached.
UPDATE: WINNER ANNOUNCED
And the winner is...CrazyBadB0y from deviantART, for his disturbing image of the Gas Man. His art will be featured in the upcoming publication, Shadows at Dusk!

This Christmas, I am giving away five FREE copies of The Saico Chronicles and ten FREE copies of Bloody Apparitions! How can you get your hands on one? Follow me on Twitter! That's it! The only stipulation is that if you win, you must take a minute to write a review on Amazon. I'll be choosing fifteen followers at random and giving away ebooks to celebrate the season! So jump on the bandwagon and join me for some holiday horror!

It wouldn't be Doctober without a pumpkin carving contest! Last year, I was lucky enough to win Robert Englund's contest on his official site, which sent me on a walk down Elm Street that has greatly impacted my life. Without that contest, I doubt I would have gotten into horror. So this year, I want to play a game. Check out the Doctober Carving tab for more!
