Who are you?: My name's Miranda Doerfler. I'm a 21 year old student and published writer.
Any nicknames?: Mira, Doc Saico, Kat, Agent Intern Mira (AIM). I am occasionally known by the titles "The Horror Queen" and "The Headshot Mistress."
Do you have an Amazon author page?: Yep, you can find it right here!
What are your interests/hobbies?: Writing, TV, video games, movies, reading, interior decorating, Ancient Egypt, forensics/murder, counter-terrorism and intelligence gathering, politics.
What's your favorite book and who's your favorite author?: My favorite book is Jurassic Park, my favorite author is Michael Crichton. I aspire to be as prolific as him, one day.
These are a few of my favorite things: 24, Prison Break, The Walking Dead, Man Up, Splinter Cell (1-2), Metal Gear Solid (1-3), Heavy Rain, BioShock, The Serial Killers Club, Totally Killer.
Tell us a random fact about yourself: I have nine tattoos thus far - An Ankh with the Eye of Ra in the center, a Pentacle tat just like the one the Winchester boys have in "Jus in Bello", a stack of books with a coffee cup on top, a tribute to my favorite video game, Heavy Rain, composed of the seven significant Origami figures from the game and the poem sent by the Origami Killer to his victims' parents, the manner in which Freddy Krueger would "get me," were I in a Nightmare movie; I would fall asleep at the computer, and Freddy would come through it (Robert even signed it!), an ouroboros, the symbol of the Millennium group from one of my favorite shows of all time, Millennium, a symbol from one of my favorite games, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, on both my left and right ankles & a sort of logo on my wrist representing the title I've adopted for myself, "Mighty Pen Wielder" (MPW).
Where can we find your work?: Amazon, CreateSpace & my local library, Crandall Public.
What are you up to now?: I am a full-time writer. I have completed a 66-page TV script for an original show that I intend to pitch and sell in the next year. You can find descriptions of this show, as well as other scripts/screenplays I'm working on under the Script Synopses tab. I hand make and sell Robert Englund-approved Freddy Krueger claw jewelry and charms, which are available for purchase under the "More" tab (note: the "More" tab may simply show up as "Freddy Jewelry"). I also occasionally work on a blog/Hubpage called, "Cliffs Notes for TV," in which I review TV shows that I watch daily.
